Become a Friend of the Library

Do you love your library and want to support it financially? You can donate to the Friends of the Library.

The Friends of West Slope Community Library is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports the library with critical funding. In the past few years, financial support from the Friends has made the following (and much more) possible:

  • additional books for children, teens, and adults
  • creation of a board game collection for children and families
  • free editions of BookPage for readers
  • literacy programs for children
  • cultural and recreational programs for teens and adults
  • Summer Reading prizes for children, teens, and adults
  • new front desks
  • tables wired for laptop users
  • bookcases
  • shelving & display carts
  • bulletin boards

West Slope Library cannot accept financial donations directly. Instead, you can donate to the Friends online or at the library with cash or a check made out to the Friends.
