Library Software Update

Washington County Cooperative Library Services will be upgrading its system software beginning at 6:00pm on Sunday, January 29 and continuing through sometime on Tuesday, January 31.

During this time your library account, the library catalog, Cloud Library ebooks, and online learning resources will be unavailable.

Libraries will be open.

In order to check out materials at the library, your library card will be required. We will not be able to look up your account any other way.

No items will be due January 29-31.

Shortened Library Hours Thursday, January 12

Due to the weather, the library will be open 10:00am-3:00pm on Thursday, January 12.

The library’s open hours during winter storms are based on staff members’ ability to travel safely to and from work. We will continue to evaluate recommendations from local transportation officials and media throughout the week. If we determine that we must change open hours on Friday, January 13, updates will be posted to this website, wccls.org, Facebook, and Twitter.

Find updates on all libraries’ open hours at WCCLS.org.

Please do not worry about returning materials to the library while roads and walkways are hazardous. We will offer a grace period so that fines are not accrued during periods of inclement weather.

When the weather is nasty, stay inside and check out an ebook or audiobook!

Thank you for your patience—and be safe!

Library Closed Due to Weather

The library is closED ON WEDNESDAY, January 11 due to inclement weather.

Find updates about other library closures at WCCLS.org.

We will continue to evaluate recommendations from local transportation officials and media. If we determine that we must close or delay opening on Thursday, January 12, updates will be posted to this website, Facebook, and Twitter.

Please do not worry about returning materials to the library while roads remain hazardous. We will offer a grace period so that fines are not accrued today and tomorrow.
